EPRS occasionally requests independent contributions from experts and academics for its own research and publications.
There is currently an open call for expressions of interest. It was launched by EPRS's Directorate for Impact Assessment and Evaluation to compile a list of experts to provide independent and external expertise for peer review and research in various policy areas. Time limit for receipt of tenders is March 2030.
The list drawn up on the basis of this call does not imply any obligation on the part of the European Parliament to request expertise (by the use of an order form) from successful applicants. The purpose of the list is to set up a database of suitable experts, meaning that the list may include a greater number of experts than will actually be required.
